Anchor Windlass in-situ Overhaulling

Unusual and ultra heavy rainfall in the month of May, did not stop the success of WWG Engineering Mechanical Team's high spirit performing a mission-critical in-situ overhauling work. The young and agreesive WWG engineering team running non-stop 2-shift-works fighting for time, rushing to get situations back to order.

Anchor Windlass was severely jammed, with anchor and chain completely stuck. Rectification, overhaul, spare parts reverse engineering re-production, and all necessary repair works started under a top urgent deployment,  on the open deck of M.V. Ding Heng 9, at the Singapore anchorage.

A perfect scenario of high level team-work between Mechanical Team, Machine Shop Team, and QC Team, was the key for such a successful deliverable where time was of great concern. Great thanks to WWG members contributing to this very demanding and challenging assignment.... wishing more to comeby.
