  • At least 2 years working experience in Marine & Engineering Sector.
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Possess own transport.
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Job Description:

  • Operate Thermal Spray Equipment, specifically HVOF system, Plasma System, Flame spray system and Arc Spray System 
  • Operate ABB Robots to manipulate spray equipment
  • Apply protective Masking such as tapes, Plasma Tape, and Copper sheet.
  • Perform surface preparation by means of Aluminum Oxide grit blasting.
  • Maintain Spray booths properly to include spray equipment, tooling and special cooling fixtures
  • Set ABB robot to run with proper program
  • Operate spray equipment per set parameter for different materials
  • Visually inspect coating for bond and uniformity
  • Successfully remove tapes and other masking
  • Perform daily housekeeping and any other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • 3 year of experience required 
  • Knowledge of Thermal Spray Process and typical equipment required
  • Ability to independently apply coating to components of stationary or rotating equipments.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Understanding of Basic Math computations, such as reading a ruler / micrometer and clipper
  • Understanding of standard tools, such as basic mechanics tools
  • The ability to watch, listen and learn / retain training for rapid understanding of processes

Job Description:

  • Perform setup, operate and maintain Cylindrical Grinding operation in precision parts 
  • Perform cylindrical/ profile grinding and check wheel balancing
  • Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures
  • Conduct in-process inspection and final checks on work
  • Conduct daily machine tool preventive maintenance, as well as implement good 5S auditing
  • Perform daily housekeeping and any other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent 
  • At least 3 years working experience as Cylindrical Grinder in Precision Engineering
  • Good knowledge on machining processes and able to read technical drawing.
  • Able to operator various machinery (Lathe/Surface Grinding/Milling) will be added advantage
  • Able to read, interpret drawings and specifications of tools, parts or models; computing dimensions and tolerances and verify machined parts conform to specification
  • Independent and able to work under a fast pace environment

Job Description:

  • Set up, operate and maintain conventional lathe machines/Milling Machine.
  • Set up, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks
  • Conduct in-process inspection and final checks on work
  • Perform simple troubleshooting of manual lathe and milling machines 

Requirements:

  • NITEC qualification in Precision Engineering / Mechanical or equivalent
  • Knowledge of design, usage, repair and maintenance of conventional lathe machines and tooling
  • 3 years relevant experience
