Another proud moment of the WWG Engineering Mechanical Team....
Over at Lawas Hydro Power Plant in Sarawak, WWG Engineering Mechanical Team has just completed complete re-installing, commissioning and test-running of a hydro turbine. Mechanical installation, Laser Alignment, Vibrations monitoring.... and yes, everything are performing within specifications.
This particular Hydro Turbine assembly was pulled out from the Lawas Hydro Power Station, dismantled, carried out thorough inspection to identify all faults, fully overhauled at WWG Bintulu Plant under Daya Bumimaju Sdn Bhd. Inclusive of welding repair, HVOF coating, cylindrical grinding, dynamic balancing etc. All components were refurbished to regain original manufacturer's tolerances before full assembly putting back into service. Running test with loads successgfully performed.
